Using the Power of Story to Bridge Divides and Bring People Together.
Leading a business, organization, or educational institution can be a wild ride. It’s incredibly rewarding and yet it comes with its challenges.
You might be noticing that people are getting more frustrated and burned out. They’re feeling disconnected from one another. Voices are getting left out of the conversation, and you’re picking up on a subtle “us versus them” dynamic. You want to bring everyone back together, but how?
As a long-time storyteller and mindfulness coach, I invite audiences to not only explore their differences but to lean into them. I do this by bringing in the humor, struggles, and joy of life with a frank and candid approach.
You don’t want just another robotic speaker who talks at your audience. You want someone who can be a catalyst for change. That’s why I design all my keynotes and workshops to be highly practical and interactive. In each one, I guide audiences to be present, stay curious, and bring joy to the forefront of all we do.
Most importantly, participants leave remembering that we have more in common than we realize. They have the power to create the space so that everyone has a seat at the table.

KEYNOTE OPTION 1
Buddhas in the Boardroom including -The Art of the P.A.U.S.E.
Organizations are only as strong as their people, and right now, people are struggling. Many are suffering alone and losing their joy. Three out of five adults don’t talk about their stress because they don’t want to burden others. Two-thirds of adults wish they had more emotional support.
People are carrying the stress, racing thoughts, and burnout with them. They’re doing so regardless of whether they’re at home, the office, or the grocery store.
Researchers have long studied how focusing on the present helps reduce stress levels. The results are clear. Something as simple as practicing mindfulness can have major pay-offs.
In this keynote, I share my 5-step process for practicing mindfulness. With a heartfelt and humorous style, I invite those in the room to take a P.A.U.S.E. and step into greater compassion and peace. Attendees leave with practical tools to help them no matter how stressed out they feel.
Main outcomes of this keynote include:
Break down the 5-step mindfulness process that helps people live with greater clarity, compassion, and connection, which helps build resiliency, good relationships and decision making.
Understand the first action you can take to become more present even if everything around you feels chaotic.
Discover the 3 elements that make us suffer and what to do instead so you can live a less stressful and more peaceful life.
Identify when your mind begins racing or making judgments and how to gently shift into a calmer, more open space.
Practice new strategies that help reprogram the way you think so you can live with greater ease.
Leaders will specifically enjoy:
Developing compassionate leadership skills that encourage initiative, creativity, and productivity.
Creating more relaxed and resilient employees, and skills to manage conflict and the varying dynamics of office relationships with kind awareness.
Deepening listening skills and developing a greater appreciation of others’ perspectives.
Improving emotional intelligence and presence for yourself and your teams.

Shifting Your Lens
As humans, we often make judgments about people we meet without even realizing it. Simply by looking at someone, we assume certain personality traits. We end up creating stories about who they are, what they’re like, and what they want.
The reality is that many of these judgments don’t help us. They cause disconnect and isolation. This impacts you as a leader, colleague, classmate, and community member.
What if you could change that and simply witness people as they are?
In this artistic presentation, I invite audiences to explore this possibility. Participants leave with tools that help them release unhelpful expectations and instead, see others through a clearer lens.
In this keynote, attendees will learn…
How easily judgments and assumptions can sneak in and cloud their view of others.
The surprising ways that expectations can keep them from connecting with those around them.
Why curiosity is an important key for connection.
Powerful shifts that open our minds and allow for greater creativity.

The Stories We Tell Ourselves: Unraveling Our Narratives for a Happier Life
The stories we tell ourselves matter. They shape how we see the world, how we interact with others, and how we respond to challenges. If the story is, “I always mess things up,” well… guess what? You’re going to approach life with the grace of a giraffe on roller skates. But if the story is, “I’m learning and growing,” suddenly the bumps on the road feel like part of the adventure.
Our brains love stories—they help us make sense of things. But sometimes our brains get lazy and recycle old scripts. Maybe a breakup in high school turned into the narrative: “I’m unlovable,” and now, that same story is on repeat every time you face rejection.
In this keynote, attendees will learn:
Ways to stay present, focused and at ease by unraveling our inner narratives and stories.
How to mindfully explore challenging experiences and people, and see them as our greatest teachers.
How to get “unstuck” from the swirling negative thoughts.
How stories can connect us to ourselves and others so we can lead productive and peaceful lives.
How to create stronger, more connected teams through the power of storytelling.

Story Exchange Workshops
Our lives are often filled with running from one thing to another. We sit in meeting after meeting, rush through traffic, and scroll endlessly on our phones. We know about everything that’s happening in the world, but we don’t know our neighbor.
We’re surrounded by people yet we feel more disconnected than ever. A recent release from the U.S. Surgeon General states how loneliness is now at epidemic levels. The translation? More and more Americans feel invisible and insignificant.
It’s through the power of story that we can reverse this. In this interactive team building workshop, I first begin by creating an inviting space. I then guide audiences to share lighthearted, fun, and meaningful stories designed to help one another feel seen and heard. Participants leave feeling a deeper connection and appreciation for others and themselves.
Key outcomes of this workshop include.
Explore the strength in vulnerability through sharing personal stories in a safe, welcoming environment.
Build deeper listening and communication skills.
Understand the unique challenges that others face so you can understand your clients and co-workers needs better.
Develop greater empathy for others in your organization.
Encourage the inclusion of different voices and perspectives which increases ideas, welcomes creativity and helps get the best from individuals on your teams.
Experience more compassion, curiosity, and connection with those around you, so you can work more closely, with clarity and efficiency.
This workshop can be delivered virtually or in person.
These in-person keynotes can be delivered through speaking, a workshop, or a combination. All keynotes can be tailored to fit the audience, their needs, and your goals.
